What is the Religious Education Program (REP)?
REP is an opportunity for our children ages 3 to 6th grade to learn more about their faith and grow closer to God. It is a key part of their faith journey in addition to regular Mass attendance and your family’s prayer life.
We offer two options:
Children’s Liturgy of the Word is available to children ages 3 through 2nd grade. Children are dismissed from the 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. Masses for an age appropriate reading of the Word of God as well as activities and crafts to help their learning. Once children begin preparing for First Holy Communion, they should stay in the main church.
REP classes are available for children in grades 1-6. REP classes meet on Tuesdays during the school year with time off during school breaks (Christmas, Spring Break, etc.). There are two sessions to choose from 4:30-5:30 and 6-7 p.m. The classes are taught by trained, certified catechists and meet in the school classrooms.
