The parish community of St. Paul the Apostle joins the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops in recognizing the tremendous gifts that Catholic young adults – men and women in their late teens, twenties, and thirties – have to bring to church life. We welcome and invite young adults of our parish, whether single, married, with or without children, divorced, or widowed, to enrich our parish with their presence through engagement in the greater parish life as well as specific activities geared for young adult formation and fellowship.
Young Adult Faith Formation Mission
As young adult members of St. Paul the Apostle parish community, we strive to live the missionary spirit of the first Apostles who, filled with the Holy Spirit, bravely entered into the world to make connections with society and bring the Gospel message of hope to the hopeless, poor, marginalized, and outcast. We come together in community to grow in faith, engage in service opportunities, and support one another in fellowship in the various stages of our lives. We invite young adults to cheerfully share their time, energies, and talents with our parish and greater community for the good of others.
Engagement Opportunities – What’s Happening This Year?
Young adults (age 18 – 39) in college or graduate school students or working young professionals are invited to come together in community to socialize, grow in faith, and support one another through fellowship. Join in the many opportunities for fellowship and learning, such as the weekly Bible Study that is open to drop-ins, monthly speaker series and pub night/Holy Brew Thursday, bi-annual retreats, and occasional fun outings.
Young adults are invited to stay in the know by searching for and downloading MyParish App. Create a user profile and join the group “Young Adults at SPA” to receive updates on happenings in the group. And join the email list by contacting Emmanuela Chukwuezi at email@example.com or 616.949.4170 x247 or with any questions or suggestions.Exodus 90 Suggested Routine
