Grow in Faith

Children’s Liturgy of the Word

The children celebrate the Liturgy of The Word in “kid friendly” terms and follow-up with a story or activity that reinforces the message of the Gospel. They also recite the Creed and pray for the Church’s intentions. Children ages 4 years through 4th grade are dismissed for a short time during the 9 and 11 a.m. Masses throughout the school year to attend this ministry.

Volunteers are needed: Catechists are scheduled on a 4-5 week rotation and may choose which Mass they would like to volunteer at and which age group they prefer, 4-year olds to 2nd graders OR 3rd and 4th graders.

Training and materials provided.

Sunday School

Church for our kids ages 3 to Kindergarten! This program runs during the 9 a.m. Mass on most weekends throughout the school year. Children are introduced to the order of the Mass and the liturgical year by stories of the Life of Jesus. This involves prayer, service, music, creative play and more! Call the parish office for registration information.

Volunteers are needed: Catechists and aides are asked to volunteer on a regular basis for every Sunday during the school year. Home-helpers and subs are also needed.

Training and materials provided.
