On Earth As It Is In Heaven
A 4-Week Study of The Revelation to St. John
Mondays, 6:30-8 p.m.
Revelation often seems downright outlandish, and we are nearly always stumped at some point, asking What does it mean?
Please join us for this next—and final for the study year—Adult Bible Study in which we will take a quick overview of the structure and themes of this fairly short book.
Preview: John sees that our world below is, by God’s grace and through much tribulation, being conformed to the world above. In the end, we shall sing, with Revelation, The kingdoms of this world are becoming the kingdom of our Lord and of his Christ, and he shall reign for ever and ever.
For the best study experience, please read the following chapters before class:
April 29: Chapters 1-3. Sharing in Jesus the distress, the kingdom and the endurance
May 6: Chapters 4-10. Glory to him who sits upon the throne and to the Lamb
May 13: Chapters 11-18. Great tribulation and the blood of the Lamb
May 20: Chapters 19-22. God’s dwelling is with the human race.
